Shelly is a Certified Somatic Movement Educator, located in Falmouth, ME She enjoys tennis, biking and enjoying Maine’s beautiful outdoors, but spent decades suffering from chronic pain not resolved through traditional techniques. After Somatic movement restored her full function and mobility, she has embraced her role of educating others about this method in pursuit of supporting improved health and well being.

After suffering with chronic pain for many years, Shelly was amazed at how little information was promoted about Somatic movement methods. She has co-founded SomaCurious, a collaboration of Somatic movement educators who are exploring emerging perspectives related to Somatic modalities and sharing these techniques with others to empower better self-care.
